Living Our Values


When you are in our type of business it’s important that you “practice what you preach”. This is our attempt to “walk our talk” and measure some performance indicators against our values. 

Our indicators and measures are far from perfect but we hope that they will give our stakeholders some idea of our performance against our stated values. We hope that these measures and indicators will continue to improve overtime.

QUALITY - We have a proven ability to deliver results and to solve our clients' problems. Our reputation rests on the high quality of our work, the speed with wish we can respond, and our strict control of costs.
  • 83% of our clients strongly agreed that we “completed our assignments on or before the project deadline”.
  • 85% of our clients strongly agreed (15% agreed) that our team members “always conducted themselves in a professional manner”.

INTEGRITY - We expect business relationships with our staff, associates and clients to operate at the highest level of honesty and integrity.

EXPERTISE - All the people who work for InterPraxis have a first-class educational and career background. Before engaging our services, clients are invited to meet and approve all team members who will be involved in any project.

VALUE - We are dedicated to providing the best value to our clients, while maximizing productivity and exercising prudent management of expenditures. All clients are guaranteed our "no surprises" budget policy.

PARTNERSHIPS - We are committed to working in partnership with our clients. We become viscerally involved in the goals and ambitions of our clients; and share with them the excitement, intensity and commitment they bring to their responsibilities.

FUN - We believe in a creative and collegial working environment which fosters innovation and learning – and while we’re committed professionals this doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. We excel at fun.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT - We implement effective consultation systems to ensure maximum input from the client and quality review both while the project is still in progress and again when it is completed. 
  • 25% of our clients strongly agreed (67% agreed) that InterPraxis team members demonstrated good judgement and always asked questions if they were unsure how to best proceed.
  • 58% of our clients strongly agreed (25% agreed) that InterPraxis took the necessary time to understand their needs before starting the assignment. 
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY - We strive to be good corporate citizens by fostering an ethical orientation in all our work and by strengthening the community fabric of the places where we work and play - and actively participate in civil society.
  • In 2003 InterPraxis became one of the first companies in Canada to be a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact which asks companies to embrace, support and enact, within their sphere of influence, a set of core values in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption.
  • InterPraxis regularly gives pro-bono presentations on ethics and corporate social responsibility at Universities and Colleges. 
  • InterPraxis donates a portion of its net profits to charitable projects in developing countries.
  • All team members are encouraged to volunteer in their communities.
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY - We will contribute to a healthy natural environment by minimizing our ecological footprint and seeking opportunities to implement best environment practices.
  • InterPraxis attempts to minimize material and energy use through actions such as double-sided printing and recycling. However, the effectiveness of these initiatives is not measured.
  • In 2003, we committed to purchasing carbon off-sets for all of our work-related air travel. Last year this meant that we arranged for Tree Canada Foundation to plant trees in Sudbury on our behalf, which will sequester a potential 3.7 tonnes of CO2 equivalent. 
  • In addition, as part of our contracting procedures, our team members commit to use public or non-motorized transportation whenever available and reasonable to do so.
