Bart Slob
Associate
Bart is an associate with InterPraxis and the director of Ethics at Work.
Bart focuses on sustainable and inclusive business. He works actively with governments, civil society organisations and companies to promote and ensure responsible business behaviour. From advising high-level personnel in one-to-one meetings to workshops with staff members of a government department, his message is the same – organisations can be responsible at every stage of their value chain.
He has developed and implemented environmental, social and governance risk management systems for businesses in both developed and developing countries. He is also a certified and experienced social auditor. As a researcher, he specialises in ESG issues in global value chains. Bart is a regular guest lecturer at universities, business schools and research institutes and has expertise in facilitation, participation and innovative dialogue design within change processes.
Since the early 2000s he has been involved in policy development in the field of sustainable business. He has advised companies, governments and NGOs on corporate social responsibility, responsible supply chain management, sustainable public procurement, fair trade, and private sector development.
He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch.
